چکیده

Preclinical (animal) testing and human of drugs vaccines are rarely considered by social scientists side side. Where this is done, it typically for theoretically exploring the ethics two situations to compare relative treatment. In contrast, we empirically explore how clinical trial participants understand role animal test subjects in vaccine development. Furthermore, science research has only concentrated on broad public opinion views patients about research, whereas a group particularly implicated pharmaceutical development: experimental subjects. We surveyed interviewed COVID-19 Oxford, UK, their taking part animals trials. found that mirrored assumptions legitimate reasons embedded regulation provided insight into (i) nuances research; (ii) co-production subjects; (iii) medicine testing, motivations demographics participants, change an outbreak; (iv) what involvement can offer science.

Ancient DNA from Human and Animal

Research on ancient DNA (aDNA) has the potential to enable molecular biologists and archeologists to decipher certain aspects of history by direct looking into the past. However, several major problems in this field limit the applicability of aDNA studies, most importantly contamination with modern DNA and postmortem DNA degradation. In this study we extracted and analyzed aDNA obtained from ~3...
